Be a part of the World Food & Music Festival Volunteer Team!

The Greater Des Moines Partnership is excited to share the 2025 World Food & Music Festival presented by Veridian Credit Union is coming up on August 22-24 in Western Gateway Park in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). This three-day event would not be possible without the help of countless volunteers & supporters.

The volunteer sign-up for this year's Festival is live and we hope you'll consider being part of the fun! With a variety of jobs to choose from, you can volunteer by yourself or with a group of friends, colleagues or family members. Whatever you choose, there's a spot for you!

Important volunteer information:

• Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt to wear during their shift(s) and two $2 taste tickets to use for free food at The Festival! 
• Volunteers must be at least 14-years-old when they report for their shift. If you are unable to fulfill your shift, please let us know as soon as possible.
• Make sure you wear comfortable clothing and keep in mind that we will be outside. The event is rain or shine, so it's important that you come prepared for anything!
• You are responsible for personal items. Please make sure items are carried with you during your shift.
